The Lt. Governor's Volunteer Recognition Certificate program is an opportunity for nonprofit, faith-based, corporate and government agencies to recognize the on-going volunteer efforts in your agency.
The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards:
Over the past 16 years, Prudential Spirit of Community Awards have been given to 1,006 middle and high school students across Utah for helping the less fortunate, promoting health and safety, protecting the environment, and service communities through many other volunteer activities. These awards honor outstanding volunteers in grades 5 thogugh 12 who have made meaningful contributions to their communities of the past 12 months. Young volunteers can apply online at http://spirit.prudential.com. Applications must be completed by November 1, 2011, and then submitted to a middle or high school principal, Girl Scout Council, county 4-H agent, American Red Cross Chapter, YMCA, orr affiliate of the HandsOn Network.
